Founder of InvestMLP
InvestMLP was founded by a medical doctor. After more than twenty-five years of clinical experience, we apply the same discipline to reading companies and making investment decisions.
Paediatrics teaches you to read people and data together. What you do when assessing a child's chart is not so different from assessing a company's balance sheet: you look at the number in front of you, you ask what the number is not telling you, and you do not rush.
A clinical background makes it easier to tell a real health technology company from a good pitch — and to ask the hard questions early: safety, staffing, and who actually pays.
Outside healthcare we follow retail and supermarket groups, refining and energy, insurance, and automotive. Ordinary industries with real assets and real customers; value investing usually earns its keep there.

We do not buy companies below our return-on-equity and return-on-invested-capital thresholds. Numbers clear the bar, stories do not.
Patient Capital
We manage family capital. We have no redemption calendar, so we can wait years for a company to grow into its value.

We work from Maltepe, on the Asian side of the city. Istanbul is where we read, meet, and decide; we look at companies in Türkiye and abroad from here.
